2011 Scholarship Recipients
All 3 of our recipients have a well balanced background with excellent grades, extracurricular activities and volunteerism and a clear picture of what they hope to achieve with their education.

Kelsey Zook |
| Kelsey Zook who graduated from Oley Valley High School, will be attending Penn State University majoring in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Kelsey hopes to work as a large animal veterinarian upon completion of her education. Coming from a family that farmed, Kelsey chose to focus on large animal medicine to help maintain good human health by insuring animals are producing quality products for human consumption. |

Sarah A. Bauman |
| Sarah A. Bauman also is a graduate of Oley Valley High School and will be attending Alfred State College majoring in Veterinary Technology. Sarah plans to focus on large animal veterinary medicine and has worked on a farm which she thoroughly enjoyed and currently works for a veterinarian, supporting him in caring for the animals. Sarah hopes to eventually own her own dairy operation. |

Tori Dow Heffner |
| Tori Dow Heffner is a graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School and is attending University of South Florida majoring in Animal Science/Biology. Tori is taking a program offered by Penn State Berks Campus in Animal Medicine and then on to University of South Florida, and plans to pursue a PhD in Zoology in Research and Development, hoping to help balance nature, humans and animals on the world's ecosystem. |
